Regulations around pitching to dogAdvisor are changing

9th May 2025 | Trust & Safety Team | Unsolicited service/product offerings

This is not a press release, so you must not include it when citing dogAdvisor's site.

We're changing the regulations around contacting dogAdvisor for unsolicited pitching. We're changing these rules to ensure that we can respond to you faster, manage our inbox, and prevent fraud & abuse.

84% of pitches are never read. We're changing that.

We get hundreds of emails a day, thus - understandably - we aren't able to read or respond to most. Currently, only 16% of pitches we recieve are actually read by dogAdvisor. We're changing this to ensure we can read more pitches and respond to that even faster.

We're guaranteeing 100% of the pitches we recieve will now be read by our founder

We're launching these new measures to prevent fraud and abuse, preventing people from claiming they work at organisations they aren't related to. At present, 21% of all our read pitches have fraudulent identies, who claim to work at companies they aren't associated with. We're changing that.

We're moving away from emails for our partners to a free new platform for communication, reducing the amount of emails we recieve, allowing us to respond to all of your pitches.

How to contact dogAdvisor now

You should now contact dogAdvisor through LinkedIn.

To get in touch, just add this LinkedIn Account as a connection by pressing "Connect". We'll then accept your connection request within 12 hours and you'll be ready to pitch via LinkedIn chat!

LinkedIn is used by hundreds of millions of professionals, and has built-in verification and safety teams, whose safeguards we trust to prevent fraud and abuse. It is free to register on.

If you've been restricted on LinkedIn, please email us. We'll then advise you on the steps to take to recover your account, or we'll allow you to pitch via a special email. If you don't have a LinkedIn account, you'll need to create one or you won't be able to reach us.

We thank you for your patience and we look forward to connecting on LinkedIn,
